Every day we help people record and transmit
data using mobile technologies. Whether the information
comes from medical sensors or machines in a factory
we provide secure, dependable, user friendly wireless
solutions for access to expertise anytime, from anywhere.
By starting a new wave of life, we are empowering you
to change the way you work, live and play.

Cyberfab reaches 10 million heartbeat recording and transmission
with Bluetooth ECG and pulse oximeter.
Crolles, May 18 2005.
Since May 2003, Cyberfab has been using Bluetooth ECG
for new services based on wireless physiological monitoring
and in the fall of 2004 we added pulse oximetry to our
list of products. Sensors for pulse oximetry can be placed
on a finger or an ear lobe and can be worn comfortably
for extended periods of time to indicate heart rate and
oxygen saturation levels.
This milestone shows the reliability of the hardware and
it is an important step to strengthen current and future
customer trust.
The small form factor of our systems combined with user
friendly software running on mobile devices bring state
of the art into every day life. The field of applications
is wide as the devices can be used for services ranging
from sports monitoring to sleep apnea diagnostic or emergency
medicine.

Wireless veterinary applications :
While doctors and insurers
still deny the right of citizens to benefit
from mobile physiological monitoring, some researchers
are beginning to wonder if veterinary applications
may
not be better suited for deploying wireless
technologies
on a wider scale. Subsidies available for agriculture
will also lower the costs of implementation.
In our Library section,
you can access two papers about real time health diagnosis
of cattle, describing the prototypes
developed by Kansas State University. The team developed
and used the following sensors: Bluetooth oximeter, heart
rate, respiratory rate, accelerometer and temperature
module for a wearable system to be used in mobile veterinary
health
assesment.
